Hidden Tile Hook

BUILD GUIDE

Solid wall or hollow wall: will the kit fit?

The backing matters more than the appearance of the tile.

Look beyond the surface

Two walls can have identical tiles and different construction. This kit is described for an existing tiled solid wall. It excludes hollow walls and tiled sheet material over framing. A photograph of the finished surface is not enough to confirm compatibility.

The first two checks

Establish the wall construction and the space required by the full mechanism assembly. The creator gives a Ø25 mm opening and approximately 80 mm behind the tile. Use those figures for initial screening and the installation documentation for the real fit. Unknown backing or depth should not be treated as compatible.

A cavity is not solid support

An apparently deep cavity does not make a framed wall suitable. Support, fastening and installation geometry matter. This guide does not describe an adapter or conversion for hollow construction and does not establish compatibility with every masonry type.

Choose for the actual location

If the wall is outside the kit’s requirements, choose a fitting designed for that construction. If it is suitable, review the specified long K-Push, tooling and supplied instructions. Check for concealed services before drilling. Neither the familiar look of a tile nor a product illustration proves that a location is clear.
